I got my first head shots photo session from a friend from high school. We had a lot of fun. I didnt know how FUN it would be to actually doing these. I have know this family since our oldest children were 9 months old. And now mines is ending 1st grade and theirs is ending kindergarten. It took a little while for little "D" to get use to the beach and my camera. Lots of playing! Sibling love always touches my heart... I adore my goofy families. They make me giggle for the whole session. Its either the kids being goofy or the parents. I love it either way! I know the Santana family from my oldest daughters school. We met up at Seaport Village for some goofyness! This princess loves to see herself in the camera.... Can you tell who is goofy?? Between the princess and her daddy... Can you imagine I am almost up to date with photos now plus blogging them. Mom called me in the middle of December to come and do some Christmas/Santa photos at their produce store. Dad was going to be Santa for an event they were having so we got him into the suit 2 times. It was great and what a wonderful sport he was!

We saw Mommy kissing Santa claus...

Lil guy wanted his bike to be in the christmas photo so he could show everyone. How cute is he? and we got Mom to smile...

I could say so many fun things about these brothers but I will let the photo talk...

I have known the mom since High School and now both of us have 2 little kids. Hers are smaller than mines so I enjoyed playing with them. Little ones are great but big ones are awesome too!
Mom wanted more grass and cool buildings. So we went in the back part of Chula Vista.

Oh gosh, I am so behind on blogging and getting sneak peeks up for my awesome families. I am several weeks behind on photos. I am going to try and get them all done this month in March!
It's going to be a GREAT 2011!

The 1st time I took photos of this cute little family. Little lady was so shy and didn't want to be in front of my camera. But this time around, WOW it was totally different and she loved it...

I have never seen such beautiful dark brown eyes...

I love Mommy and daughter photos because they are the sweetest thing..

Then of course after Daddy was walking around Balboa park, he realized we were having way too much fun and wanted in on the action....

Last Sunday, I got to meet with some FUN families for a Valentine's short session and we did have a great time together. I love seeing returning clients but I love meeting new ones.

I got referred to "A" from a friend in High School. They came all the way from Jamul to take photos at Balboa Park one early morning. We met @ 830am and those girls were ready to rock and roll. I love watching kids with their moms. It is such a fulfilling job!

Most of our session was us being monkeys or running around so I finally got her to sit for a little while.....

I love having sessions with little dudes because they are so quiet but so much fun at the same time. It is amazing how different it is. I mostly photograph girls so when Moms call me with boys its fantastic.

I met this mom from a friend in high school and she wanted something different. So we headed up to the La Jolla Lighthouse. It was such a great view and perfect lighting!

Let's meet the Elkinton family

I met this lovely family at my daughters school. Momma is a 2nd grade teacher there and she rocks the joint! I hope my daughter gets her because I love her in class policies and being strict is awesome!

We were really up in the air about where to go because she wanted a change in scenery so I went out and started looking around. I found this really neat woodsy area near our homes! It's behind a park and down a hill and it worked great!

Handsome boys....."J" goes to my daughters school and little "C" is in preschool almost into kindergarten...

"C" couldn't wait till we had FUN....

Let me say this...most of this session was all FUN and JUMPING around..I have a few posed shots but they wanted FUN and that is what we had!

I have known the Cox family since there little guy was 1 year old and now he is in Kindergarten. It has been great watching our kids grow up and each of us have 2 now :)

I have been looking all over for a woodsy style photo session and the Cox family was all for the adventure with me. We had a ball even when it was freezing outside. But you can hardly tell it was cold here in Chula Vista.

Finally a serious one after me playing around with them....

Jumping is what we do when the kids start to get bored or tired of smiling..this cheers them up!

And the bridge is great and the kids loved running around so we stopped them when we were ready to rock n roll.

I got to know this family from my daughters school. The oldest son is in her class! They have secret crushes on each other. Their Mom and I have become great friends....

We met up at Balboa Park on a somewhat rainy day. We truly lucked out because it wasn't raining on us until I snapped the very last photo.

I got to do a FUN family generation photo session. This session was for 2 purposes.....the first was for the generation photo with grandma and the second was for her youngest son is going away for the military! We had such a FUN time walking around Balboa park and to top it off everyone brought there dogs with them! It sure was an adventure!

Ok, I know I always say this but I hardly get to photograph boys so when I do..I am so excited and stoked. Because with boys you can be real goofy and do a lot more because they like to get dirty...

I met these boys this year in Kylee's school so their Mom and I have become good friends and I enjoy all their company. This session was AWESOME in my opinion but if you ask Mom or Dad they might have a different one for you!!

The Santana crew! My oldest goes to school with the middle little man. We met in kinder and now our youngest like to play together. I was excited when Mom asked me to capture the generation photos between herself, her mom and grandma! And grandma rocks in this family!

Jumping is what I like to do with all my families....

And all 4 generation girls were in this photo with the men in their lives...

Finally, most imporant is the little princess in the family and she gets loads, loads, and loads of attention..she is precious...

Just to show how far behind I am with posting pictures. This little guy will be 3 months in 6 weeks. I am going to promise myself for 2011 is to post the BLOG within 2 weeks of session..deal??

Ok this little dude joined a family of all GIRLS!! He rocked it and he was 9 days old in these photos and look how big he was....welcome to the crew "S"

I must have this effect on kids because they love sticking their tongues out at me...

He begged me to stop taking photos so he decided to stick his thumb in this month and look down....

And you won't beleive this but the only way to get him to stay still for the foot photo was when his BIG sister held him on her lap....

Halloween Pumpkin Patch session

I got to see many FUN and CUTE costumes this past weekend. I got to see Buzz Lightyear, Pumpkin, Pirate, Incredibles and a cute little Mermaid. We had such a blast at the patch and playing around in the pumpkins and the fields. I had 2 little ones that got sick last minute so I missed seeing their costumes...

So lets get this rolling with cuteness!

First off, we had a little cute blue eye incredible...

I asked for a silly face and this is what I got in return.

In the fields we go...

Then came the Pirate and his Mermaid...

She wasn't to sure of the pumpkins so closed her eyes.

This Pirate was out to get me...I was playing with him and he kept trying to attack me with his sword..

And finally, Buzz Lightyear landed on the Pumpkin patch just in time for me to photograph...

I couldn't pass by this little cute pumpkin..isn't he the cutest ever?

I always thought sisterly love was awesome but look at this brotherly love..I love these 2 little dudes..

Wonderful time with the Smith family

"A" called me last year around Christmas time to take photos of her little man at the beach with a Santa hat and no shirt..do you remember that blog...super cutie blondie!
This time around, I got to meet dad because he was home from deployment! So we headed over to Presidio park...

"A" is so much fun and he talks up a storm....I love this little dude...

This session was all about having FUN....

After this shot, dad says "I can only imagine how that will come out" See look you all look really cute!

No wonder "A" is darling..look at his parents...so before I took this shot I told dad to whisper something cute in Mom ear...and this is what happend...

The WHOLE Vasquez family...

Wow. It has been sometime since I posted a blog of photos or of my newest sessions. I need to get rolling again. So much has happend and I have so many photos to share.

As many of you know our nephew DJ was off to Navy Bootcamp and his Dad asked that we all have our pictures taken together. So we all got together and off we went to Balboa Park. I did most of the photos but my photog friend did the complete family ones with myself. But I am going to post the "Vasquez" family minus myself and my sister in law.

First off....the 3 angels (LOL)

My mother in law & father in law with all their pride and joys....

This is probaly one of my favorite photos of the day because it shows everyone's personality...

With that being said...look at this one and you can use your imagination....

This being all the siblings together and acting silly is how most of our time is being spent. It was a great day and many memories were captured.
And DJ graduated bootcamp on Sept 2 and now moving onto the medical field. Good JOB!

Sneak peek for the "Q" family

I got the pleasure to meet little "N" at the San Diego Zoo for a lovely photo session. While she was way more into the animals than my camera. I tried to get her into looking for the princesses that live inside my lens but that just didn't cut it but we had a blast together.

No wonder Daddy cannot resist this little face. I love the look on her face....really she wasn't that sad...

My brother called us and wanted my girls to go and watch their cousin "A" play some soccer. So off we went to the soccer field with my "BIG" camera as my kids say. My girls could really care less about watching little kids run up and down a field so they played instead.

I decided let me try and do some action shots of my nephew and his team. Now granted, I normally only do family and kids photography but I think theses came out pretty good!

Remember when for the "L" family

Mom called and has kept in touch with me over the past few months! Remember when I did the cutest little boy in the basket back in January.

Well..here we go again and I got to see him again and this time around he was 6 months and such a FUN and SMILEY baby...

I could just squeeze his cheeks.....

Then came Daddy. He met us at Presidio park after work and this is what happened the moment Daddy sat on the floor...

It took "K" sometime again to get use to my camera and me being the biggest goofy kid for him to smile and look handsome as ever!

And normally I just share 3 photos but at this one I couldn't resist and had to share it because this is my FAVORITE from the session...

"M" thanks for keeping in contact with me over the months and we have become nice friends. I enjoy spending time with you and the boys. I live through you and the boys because as you know I only have little girls!

Sneak peek for 3 lovely ladies

I got the pleasure to photograph 3 lovely ladies which were the Mom and her beautiful girls. They got this gift certificate from our church raffle. I was honored when they asked me to take photos for a special family!

When I talked to "K" she had told me that she doesn't have family photos of her and her daughters. We ended up at Hotel Del because she wanted a beach session and to look sandy. The weather gods weren't being so nice that day because he took away our sun for sunset photos.

I decided for this session, I will only post the FUN photos!!

I got the pleasure and the 2nd year in a row to photograph the graduating class of 2010 of Chula Vista High School! It is awesome to sit among the proud Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Siblings of the graduating class. I can only imagine what it will be like when our girls are in that class.

I always get the pleasure to photograph use to be baby "K" and now she has turned into a wonderful toddler and full of spunk!! She is great and the best part ever is that she now tells me how she wants to pose for the camera. It's FUNNY to me but Mommy thinks she overdoes herself but she is being a typical 2 year old.

I get so excited when we get to use FUN props from my clients. They have such great imaginations.

I met one of my FUN families at Mission beach/Belmont Park for some cool photos that included the best prop ever!

These sisters are so good together, can you tell?

We can never get away without taking a family photo. It takes so many laughs before we can get the perfect photo because these girls love to laugh at me or Daddy likes to close his eyes...

Now look at this prop on Belmont property....

A little background...both my husband and I worked at Belmont Park. I was hoping one of our friends would be working that day so they would allow me to roll the motorcycle closer to the merry go around...and lookie there...I got my wish! YAHOOOO

One of my girlfriends asked me to take photos of her at the beach for her Mom's birthday present. She wanted to give her mom photos of her. What a nice daughter!
So we headed down to Imperial beach by the pier....we had loads of fun and were laughing 99% of the time. It took us almost 2 hours for a normal photo shoot.

Ok, so Danny's nephew is off to BOOT CAMP for the Navy on July 7 2010. The time is ticking down to leaving his family and the going away party is coming really soon...my brother in law asked me @ my daughters birthday party "Christine, do you have your good camera and lens with you" I laughed at him because everyone knows that I normally only bring my easy point and shoot Canon because I can put it in my pocket...but the party day was different...out came the good one :)

He then went on asking if we could do a little mini shoot with him kicking his sons butt for the invite. So we went off to the grass and took some shots of him kicking him in the BUTT!! This photo is the one featured on his invite!

I was soo excited when a good friend from High School asked me to take photos of his very special girlfriends little boy. These 2 sisters have love overflowing for eachother! They have the best personalities once you get to know them. When we first met, it was quiet and after sometime they were laughing at me and how silly I am. I had to make funny faces, funny sounds and just be silly to make them give me a true smile!!

I get to photograph the cutest babies ever! I am blessed! Mom and Dad got my baby bundle package for little "T" and this was her 9month old photos. Look how she has truly grown up. I love her hair!
We had to reschedule this photo shoot several times due to the weather gods. We ended up at a really cute park near their home.

"T" is always looking at Daddy next to me. Serious face time.

My toddler model strikes again...

Can this toddler model get any cutier? Everytime I see "K" she cracks me up even more than the last time. Her smile is contagious and ongoing! She keeps me and her Momma busy through the whole photo shoot. We normally spend the whole morning together because we have so much fun playing and talking.

Raining day schedule for the Palacios

There is a funny story behind this photo shoot. We had to reschedule this one about 4 times due to rain back a few weeks ago. So each time, we said OK we are good to go...the rain GODS would work against us. So one Sunday, it wasnt suppose to rain and we headed out to Jst Marina for our session...Guess what?? not even 10 minutes into the photo session....it started to RAIN!
So we decided because it wasn't pouring rain, let's go for IT!
We were all ok except the teenagers weren't very happy with us at all. They were so cute to their Mom!
Can you tell in the photos, everyone was getting WET!

I really like them all but the one that stands out the most would be the NAKED BABY one on the beach. She is super cute! That little girl caught my eye the moment I opened your email with the blog link and photo attached. She looks adorable and her facial expressions are excellent. If you look at that photo, she has the look of curiosity and wonder going through her head. And let alone that pose is very unique. I have never seen a Naked Baby on a beach before being photographed. Mostly likely it was her very first time seeing and sitting bare on the sand. I would love to know what she was really thinking. I bet that photo shoot was great!

I really haven't gotten the chance to photograph little dudes. I love girls but I would love to add a little guy in the mix more often! So I was excited when Mom hired me for pregnancy and infant. When she saw me she said to me "Gosh Christine, you look so familiar and your voice I know it" I wonder where we know each other. So we went down the line and it comes out that she comes to my Accounting office for Sales Tax Audits! How funny. We truly live in a small world!

We had so much fun and it was very hard to narrow down the photos but be on the lookout for her newest addition in a few weeks!

We were in hopes to make a Sandy Snowman but it didn't work out to plan because Big M's soccer team got to the championships. So we just hung out near the pier and played and it was FREEEZING cold....

First off, I am sorry for not keeping up with my blog. Sorry BLOG! I have over 5 families to show off but I always give my highlight ones a couple of days!!

I get to see little "T" every 3 months to capture her milestones or to see how much she has grown. So in this blog I am going to share her 6 month photos and her 1st Christmas ones as well. They were taken 1 week apart so why not show together.

We met in Balboa park for her 6th month photos because she is working on sitting up so Mom and Dad thought it would be good practice for her....

"T" did get some assistant from the Bumbo seat...but still look cute!

Finally, we put her on her belly and she was happy!!

Christmas time this year for the Hobb family is going to be FANTASTIC. The 1st Christmas is always so special. I hope you all have a great day!

Happy Halloween to everyone. I hope everyone had a nice time trick or treating and got lots of YUMMY candy.

We spent yesterday at home carving all of our pumpkins. Kylee really got into carving put would not touch the inside of the pumpkin not even close. Here she is pretending to remove the insides...

Keyana wouldn't come close to the pumpkins so I managed to get a relly cute photo of my little cutie pie..

Trick or Treat time and some of her friends came over to join her & Keyana. We had a GREAT time with "M" & "T"

Twins, twins and more TWINS

I got pleasure to photograph a pregnant mom with TWIN BOYS! I was super excited. And I get to meet them in 4 short weeks. I have fun on all my photo shoots but this one was beyond fantastic. Daddy was so much fun in many ways. I was laughing and giggling the complete time. I kept telling him he needed to stop so my photos won't come blurry.

It was very hard for me to pick photos because I promised Mom no bare bellies and the ones I took of her bare belly were great but I have to keep my promise to my clients. So enough talking....look at these twin BOYS

I love this photo because it looks like her belly is as tall as the San Diego skyline....

Just us having a little fun instead of boring same shots....I try to come up with new poses each time.....

Another thing...look at the love in their eyes. I cannot wait to meet these little dudes....if they are like their dad....watch out!

I don't normally tease but this one is different...they are keeping the names from everyone until they are born!! GUESS WHAT....I know them :)

We beat the heat totally on this one. It was 1 week ago when we went met @ Imperial beach pier in the morning before 10am. It was actually the weekend when we got a little drizzle of rain. I got some pretty neat and cute poses considering it was freezing cold for everyone. "K" was a true sport and cute as ever. I just wish it was a little warmer...

I got the pleasure to see "V" and "G" again because their sweet baby bundle of joy arrived. They invited me to come over to the house and take "A" first set of photos. She is 3 1/2 weeks old and still is so tiny and sqeezeable. I loved it and this truly gave me my baby inch but I lived through them instead of us having another one.

She has some set of lungs...beleive me after a couple of minutes no more tears but I had to capture the tears....

Family love including the grandma's from each side. Look at all this love "A" will be getting...and the grandma's look like they are going to spoil her rotten!

I got to see Miss S again for her 4th birthday party and she had the BUG man come. She loves little insects and bugs that was the perfect theme for her. She had all her little friends from school and playgroup come over to pet these critters. Thank goodness for zoom because I am not fond of bugs :)

"S" wanted a colored tongue and the only way she could get it was to eat some green icing and look what happened to her....

Baby shower preview for Socorro

Remember when I went to the Hotel Del with Socorro from Virginia. She came into town to visit her family and they threw her a baby shower at the Four Seasons Avira!

She asked me to come and capture the moments for her and her new baby to be Elisa. I had a great time with all the lovely ladies.

She was the 2008 CARTER baby! I couldn't believe it when Mom called me and asked me to update her modeling card. I was stunned.

So last Friday, we headed off to J St Marina to have some fun in the sun and let little "K" run around. She was so much fun!

I am so thankful for a patient brother in law and sister in law. My husband's nephew graduated from Chula Vista High School in June and I was asked to take some of the photos for them. I know it is a little late but better late than never!

I just love my new adventure. I have had the most FUN ever with all the families that I have met and made memories for. What else can I ask for? So far everyone I have done has either been friends, friends of friends, word of mouth or my High school classmates. How COOL!!

"M" went to school with me and she asked me to capture some fun beach memories of her family. We headed down to Hotel Del so we have more than just one scenery to choose from.

Lil and Big M were the cutest and most lovable brothers I have seen....

Come on Mom, pay attention and stop playing around. I was laughing at this one after I took it...

And finally, I just love the sweet nothings they must be talking about...

"M" and "E" are in Vegas having a relaxing weekend so this will be a nice surprise when they get home. I had a FABULOUS time and cannot wait till our next photo shoot in a few weeks!

I had so much fun on this pregnancy shoot with "V' and "G". They were the cutest couple and was up for anything. The Pier was so crowded so we couldn't have so much fun without everyone looking at us! But we still managed to get some fun shots and laugh together.

"G" wanted to see who's belly was bigger....

They have a peaceful way about themselves. There baby is going to come into a very loving family.

We decided to draw the little princesses name in the sand...and look how pretty it came out!

"V" I am getting excited for our newborn shoot in about 2 weeks. I cannot wait to see the little darling. I hope you and "G" enjoyed each photo on your CD.

I got the pleasure again to see beautiful and glowing belly :) I live through all my clients, no more babies here. All the ladies I have photographed have been so pretty and elegant! Plus perfect round bellies!

We met up at La Jolla children's pool, we didn't let little sprinkles ruin our morning. "K" and "J" were great and we had loads of fun together. She is patiently waiting for me to post this blog....

This photo shoot was great and the weather was FABULOUS!! I know "M" and "M" from one of my high school buds!

I had the pleasure to photograph 2 lovely families. "M" family is from out of town so this was their first time here at the beach. We met at Oceanside Pier for some fun in the sun! And even Grandma was there to cherish the memories.

Let's start off today with the FUN pose! Everyone here had their own idea of to make it fun and exciting.

Here is "M" & "M" with their good looking kids.

This shot really reminds me of any Pier here in CA. So this will be a great memory for everyone on the pier with a looking glass.

I love taking photos for friends and the amount of fun we have is insane! I have know "M" and "P" since right after High School. It is so crazy that I went to prom with their brother. What a small world we have. "M" wanted to give her sister some pre wedding photos so all the girls in the wedding party met me at Hotel Del and we had FUN!

"P" is the bride to be and she is surrounding by 5 lovely ladies...

Reflections can mean so much!

Are we suppose to follow the rules all the time? If you read closely, the life guard tower says "Stay off"

I am in a picture posting mood today and as usual there is one more that I need to share just because I love it and the color is fantastic.

I think taking pregnancy photos is one of my favorites besides little munchkins!

I got to do my first after graduation photos. Mom wanted to have memories for her sweet daughter and all her friends. What a nice mom. So we headed down to J St Marina to have some fun. All these girls are either going to 8th grade or 9th grade next year but have been together since 1st grade!

This one cracks me up, I asked Dad to do something funny with his daughter and this is what he decides to do...

I "think" I found my favorite shot with all my families. I love it because there is no one alike...

I got to meet up with the most darling 2 little girls under 2 1/2 years old. We went to Imperial Beach pier to play around. It was the babies first time in the sand and wow she had FUN!! Mom asked for more candid shots rather than me posing the girls. And that is what I gave her....

Sneak peek for the Gates Family

I had so much fun on this shoot. I have known the Gates since I was in High school and when their kids were the same ages as mine now. I have watched "A" and "A" grown into such nice looking kids. Watch out Mom and Dad!!!

I normally only upload 4 photos but this time I did 5 for you can see how much fun and how creative we got. I took over 265 photos in 1 hour with them. So I had a lot of work to do and believe me it was hard to narrow down for their CD.

Let's start with a lovely family photo....

I guess as they grow up, they will enjoy each other more...

I just love everything about this photo, how they are looking at each other, how the sun is setting and the reflection off the kids...

I got the pleasure to photograph Nichole and her 2 darling little kids. "J" was such a ham in front of the camera and always wanted to pose! She kept telling me "look at me and take a photo of me doing this" It was real cute. And little "I" was camera shy unless his Mommy or sister was in the photo with him. But I still managed to get some really neat photos of him.

And ready to go!!! We took our girls to CANCUN for 1 week to visit with my family. It was amazing down there and the beach was fantastic. Despite it was extremely hot and humid, we had a wonderful time in the pool, on the beach and most of all spending time with my family!

Sneak peek for Duerr-Cockrell

I don't even know where to start...this pregnancy shoot was beyond FUN :) We met up at La Jolla children's pool in hopes to take photos near the Sea Otters but the gate was closed. We found a nice secluded area and had some fun! I got the pleasure to watch a wedding proposal, keep scrolling and you will see the results....

Wyatt has some pretty awesome and amazing parents and is going to be some cutie! Watch out girls!!!!

Sneak peek for Alissa & Steve

I got the pleasure to take some engagement photos of this cute couple. We met last Saturday which was probaly the most gloomy day ever. I think the weather gods were upset with me because we had no sun or even a peak of sun. Alissa & Steve were a bit disappointed because she wanted a certain pose with the sun and beach.
I did manage to get some cute shots for them. I hope you like these.

Happy Mothers day to all the moms. I know this is a day early but tomorrow will be my DAY and I am not planning on being on the computer much.

Last Saturday, I got the pleasure to photograph a very cute little girl S and her ducky. Ducky was my best friend during the shoot and sat on my camera just to make everyone smile at me. I think I am going to invest in some fun toys to make kids laugh. S can I borrow Ducky?

This past weekend, YES during the hotest time I got the pleasure to photograph a friend from High School and her awesome family of all boys! It was great and being around boys makes me grateful for my 2 princesses. I love boys but I don't know if I could be a Mom to boys! Y & M asked me to get some recent photos of their family and the boys. What cutie pies!

"G" has really grown into a nice young 4 1/2 year old.
